Hello again, friends! We are finally in the thick of fall. Crisp air, hot drinks, and beautiful scenery have taken over in Indiana. Harvest is beginning to wrap up for most and soon Thanksgiving will be upon us. This time of year is my favorite! I have been so busy with the farm and trying to keep up on life in general, but I have some fall favorites to share with you all that just make my life a little more fun!
1. Lena Hair Straightener/Curler 2 in 1
With working a lot on the farm, I never have much time to get ready after work to go to supper or whatever we are doing in the evenings. I am in NO way a beauty guru or anything, but I do love hair and makeup— ESPECIALLY products that make my life easier. Let’s be real, no one has time to spend forever getting ready! I ordered this 2 in 1 straightener curler on Amazon for $39.99, not knowing what to expect, but I figured it was better than spending $100 or more on an expensive curler/straightener at the beauty store. Here are some photos of the packaging and what the product looks like. It comes in a nice box with a carrying case and two hair clips.
For me, this iron is way faster than curling with a real curling iron or a wand. Frankly, if I attempt to curl with either I just end up with burnt fingers and frustration. I can’t be the only one, right? This iron makes it SO EASY for me to give my hair a little curl and it’s quick! I’ve used it a couple of times and I am in love! I have medium length hair and I take 1 inch sections at a time. I start at the top of a strand and then as I go downward I twirl the iron (yes, that’s a technical term LOL) and once my hair is wrapped around the outside of the curler, I let it sit for a couple seconds and I have a curled strand! I like to run my fingers through the curls to create a messier look, but either way it has created beautiful results! Here is a photo of the curls I did for a Halloween party we went to last weekend. I kid you not, it only took me 20 minutes to do my hair! That’s a win for me!

2. Ankle Boots
I love ankle boots! They are easy, comfy, and dress up an outfit. I was looking for some new black booties for fall and found these Seven7 brand boots for $22 at Sam’s club (what a steal)! I pair them with a cuffed pair of straight leg or skinny jeans and a cute top and I’m ready to go! You can grab these at your local Sam’s Club or at the link below. If you can’t get your hands on these, I’ve linked a pair like them that are Rampage brand on Amazon still for an awesome price!

3. Monogrammed Duck Boots
I love anything monogrammed or personalized! These “duck” boots are awesome because they are waterproof and they come with sherpa inserts to transition them to winter time! Staple shoes like these are great because you can wear them for multiple seasons. I wear them in spring, fall, and winter. These boots are $69.99 and come in 3 colors: Black/Herringbone, Brown, and the color I got— Olive. I got them off Marley Lilly. You may be able to get them cheaper if you sign up for their mailing list and get the coupon they send! Also, they run sales pretty frequently, which I love! I get tons of stuff off of this site. They have items that are great for gifting during the holidays and so much more! I have always loved their products and you’ll see two more of them on this favorites list. I got these in a size 9. I usually wear a 9 1/2 and I sized down. I will include the link to these below.

4. Sherpa Pullovers
I LOVE cozy sweatshirts and sweaters. They are so easy to pair with leggings and run to town in or just lounge around. I bought this Monogrammed Sherpa Pullover for my sister for her birthday and it is so cozy I am going to buy myself one!
This pullover comes in both adult and children’s sizes, so you can get one for your mini, too! This pullover came from Marley Lilly and is $69.99 for adults and $39.99 for kids. I am wearing this in a size M/L and it’s true to sizing. If you are a Medium and want it to fit more snug, size down.

5. Cozy Vests
Vest weather is the best! I love having a sweatshirt or long sleeve t shirt on with leggings and a vest. What’s great about this vest is that you can dress it up or down. This would be great to wear for family activities this holiday season with a nice pair of jeans. Surprise, I got mine monogrammed. It just adds something a little extra for me! Also, you can pick what color you would like the monogrammed stitching to be! This is my third and final item from Marley Lilly on my fall favorites list. This vest is $59.99 and I got it in a size Large so that I can put sweaters or sweatshirts underneath if I want to. For picture purposes, I have put a long sleeve crew neck t shirt by Eddie Bauer underneath (my favorite layering shirts). The link for this vest is below.

6. The Best Bralette Ever, Seriously.
I’ll admit, when bralettes first became popular I was a skeptic. I am larger chested, so in my mind there was no way they were a possibility for me. Over the last couple of years I have tried several bralettes from various brands and have found a couple that sort of work for me, but this one is the bomb . com. This bralette is by Free People and it’s called the Adella. I own it in the colors copper and white. I wear a 34DD in regular bra size and I got a size Large in this bralette. It is not padded, but don’t let that scare you off. This is high quality and is VERY supportive. You can get this in a large variety of colors and at several different stores, but the one that has the most color selection I have found is Macy’s. They retail for $38, but if you have Macy’s coupons you can get them cheaper! 🙂 Here is the link below.

7. Plunder Magnetic Bracelets
One thing I can seem to never get enough of in my closet is jewelry. I love being able to dress up a simple outfit with bling! Plunder is my go to jewelry because it’s cute, a lot of their product is versatile, and it lasts. I have product that’s 5 or 6 years old and it still looks new! These bracelets are the best! I have been collecting them little by little as they have come out with more colors and metal color combos. They go with a lot of things, are easy to put on, and are fun to mix and match! I am OBSESSED with these things. They are $28 a bracelet and there are SO many more colors than what I have pictured on my wrist. Go check them out under the bracelets tab at this link 🙂 — Plunder Bracelets
8. Whiskey in a Teacup
Get your head out of the gutter, I’m not talking about actual whiskey in a teacup— it’s a book! Whiskey in a Teacup is the book I’m reading this fall and so far I love it! I picked this up at Walmart because Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorite actresses. This book is chalk full of goodness and what it means to be a southern lady (I love all things southern). Also, there are some fun recipes and good laughs, too! I’m not finished with it yet, but I highly recommend this book!
